Built from a Moment We Didn't Want to Forget
Guestreel began with a wedding. Our wedding.
Like many couples, we poured our hearts into planning the day—finding the right venue, curating the music, choosing the food, booking a great photographer. It was perfect. But after the confetti settled, we realized something was missing: the photos and videos our guests had taken.
Everyone had their phones out capturing moments we would have never got to see. From cousins laughing in the corner, to old friends reunited on the dance floor, to those late-night, slightly chaotic clips that only appear after dessert—it was all out there. But trying to gather it? That’s where the fun stopped.
We spent weeks texting people, chasing group chats, digging through WhatsApp threads and disappearing Instagram stories. The photos came through, eventually—but in low resolution, cropped, compressed, and scattered. We had this beautiful day, but no easy way to relive it through the eyes of the people who made it special.
That experience sparked an idea.
What if there were a simple, seamless way for event guests to upload their photos and videos—no apps, no accounts, no compression, no chaos? What if you could just scan a QR code and instantly share your memories in full quality, all in one place?
So we built Guestreel.
It’s a digital guestbook, reimagined for today. Designed for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, reunions, baby showers, housewarmings—any moment when people come together and create something worth remembering. With Guestreel, your guests can contribute their stories, and you can revisit the day exactly how it happened.
There’s no need to chase anyone or miss out on moments. Everything uploads to a clean, easy-to-use dashboard where hosts can view, organize, and download the memories in original quality. It’s fast, private, and effortless.
At its core, Guestreel is about connection. It’s about preserving the joy of shared experiences, through the lens of the people who lived them with you. We built it out of personal frustration, but also out of love—for storytelling, for community, for keeping memories alive.
